01The app says the OpenAI API key is invalid, but the key works
- Do not replace the key yet — swapping a key that already works will not fix this
- Switch the source to Apple's on-device model: free, no key, works immediately
- If you have an Anthropic API or xAI API key, those routes are unaffected
- Email us if you need help — we only need the provider name and the app version
This is our problem, not a misconfiguration on your side. The app currently pins one fixed OpenAI model, and that model does not exist on every account; the app then reports the provider's response as a key problem. Please do not upgrade your plan or pay more to work around it. When you write in, do not attach your API key or the full error body — we do not need it and should not see it.
02What Does This Mean? is missing from the Mac context menu
- Move the app to Applications and launch it once
- Open System Settings → Keyboard → Keyboard Shortcuts → Services → Text
- Enable What Does This Mean?
- Reopen the Terminal or app you were using
macOS manages Services. Apps that were already open may need to restart after an update.
03The app icon is missing from the iPhone Share Sheet
- Take a screenshot, or select text in a compatible app
- Open the system Share Sheet
- Scroll to the end and tap More
- Add What Does This Mean? to Favorites
iOS and the source app control Share Sheet order. Adding the action to Favorites makes it easier to find next time.
04Apple Intelligence is unavailable
- Confirm that the device supports Apple Intelligence
- Enable Apple Intelligence in System Settings
- Wait for system models to finish downloading
- Confirm that the current language and region are supported
The app never sends content to a third party merely because the on-device model is unavailable.
05A screenshot returns only time or numbers
- The main text may be too sparse or small, while the status bar is easier to recognize
- Share a crop with a larger proportion of the main content
- When possible, select and share the original text instead
- You never need to grant full Photo Library access
Screenshot understanding is still a pre-release beta: the default path uses on-device OCR and visual cues as evidence, and weak evidence stops the answer instead of inviting a guess. With your explicit per-share consent, the image can also go to a cloud AI you configure for direct visual analysis.
Refunds
Fourteen days, no reason needed.
If it does not suit you, email us within 14 days and we will refund you. You do not need a reason and you do not need to explain what you used it for. Write to cso@titapex.com. Include the email you paid with and the date of purchase; those two are enough for us to find your order.
Please do not paste your full License Key into the email. That string is the licence itself, and sending it hands it to every server the mail passes through. We will never ask you for it either.
You can still write to us after 14 days. A Mac that cannot update to macOS 26, an activation that will not go through, device slots that are all used up, a lost key we cannot recover — none of those become your problem because a fortnight passed. We handle them case by case.
What happens after a refund: this is a one-time purchase, not a subscription, so there is no subscription to cancel. Once the refund is issued, devices you have already activated keep working for another 30 days, which is time to export your ledger. After 30 days they stop renewing.
Your ledger is not deleted. It lives on your own device, we have never held a copy of it, and a refund does not touch it. (If you have iCloud Backup or Time Machine on, your own backup has a copy too — in your Apple account or on your drive, not with us.) If you want to keep it, use Export in the app to save it as a file.
Old Mac sold, broken or lost?
We can release that device slot for you.
A licence has 3 device slots, and normally you free one yourself by pressing “Deactivate This Device” on that Mac. If it is out of reach, write to the address above with the email you paid with, the date of purchase, and which case it is — sold, broken or lost. Again, please do not paste your full License Key.
One thing to be clear about first: after a slot is released, that Mac gets no new licence and cannot renew — but the offline licence it already downloaded keeps working until the expiry date it shows, up to 180 days. That is the cost of offline verification: with no network there is no way to stop it remotely on the spot. If you are selling a Mac, press “Deactivate This Device” on it before it leaves your hands; that also clears the local licence data.
Refunds and licence problems
Email us directly.
Refunds, activations that will not go through, device slots that are used up, a lost key — email cso@titapex.com. Include the email you paid with and the date of purchase so we can find your order, and please do not paste your full License Key.
Think your licence key was exposed?
See the security path available today.
Automatic freezing is still in pre-release verification, and the site does not currently collect a full key. The licence-security status page gives the human support route and states what not to send.

Bought it and found this Mac cannot run it?
You can have a refund.
The app needs macOS 26. If this Mac cannot update to macOS 26 it cannot run the app — that is not temporary and restarting will not change it. Email us with the address you paid with and the date. The 14-day limit does not apply to this case.
Where is the API key?
Only in this device's Keychain.
The key never enters iCloud, the ledger, preferences, or debug logs. After removing it locally, delete it on the provider's official site to revoke it completely.
How do I delete data?
You control it locally.
Delete one ledger entry, clear everything, or export JSON first. This site keeps no ledger copy, so there is no separate server-deletion request.
